I just went through the painful process of realizing that I need new glasses. I say painful because I went way too long before upgrading my lenses. But, in the end, getting the new glasses couldn’t have been more painless! Hence, I felt the need to throw up a post to give you the insight (no pun intended) that I have after my recent experiecne.
If you are looking for eyeglasses and you are used to going to the mall to get them, let me stop you right away before you make the same mistake again. See, the thing I figured out is that many of the mall retailers are over-charging you (in my opinion) for a pair of glasses that you can get online for much less money.
See, the reason I think the mall thing is over-priced is because you are paying to get the “name brand” frames. Did you ever wonder why it is the frames that are branded, not the lenses? Seems funny that the most important part is generic. right?
Well, the cool thing that this resource does is that they make all of their frames in house and all of their lenses in house and they don’t waste time or money slapping heavily marketed brand names on the frames,. The result is that you get the same quality lenses and the same looking frames for much less money. Check it out and let me know what you think!
